Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver meticulous repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace damaged sections, and ensure high-quality finishes with proper paint prep.

You will work closely with teammates to meet KPIs and provide exceptional customer service, while adhering to safety, quality, and time standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school certification or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Team-based repair experience desirable.
• Experience with vehicle body repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and estimate repair work for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts or glass as needed.
• Replace interior parts and perform welds and paint prep.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final work.
