Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Austin is seeking a Parts Coordinator to provide an exceptional customer experience by ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. The role requires 1-3+ years automotive parts experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with MIS systems such as Summit or Repair Centre.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($14.25–$20.00 per hour) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years minimum CCC1 experience preferred
• 1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred
• 3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability under pressure and take initiative in problem solving

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently
• Communicate customer requests to the appropriate team members
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts per repair orders
• Verify quality, correctness and quantity of parts received
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS
• Label and track parts by RO# and store with vehicle/scheduled repairs
• Communicate Parts Price Changes (PPI) to team members
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS and monitor performance
• Reconcile vendor invoice history daily and ensure proper posting of invoices
