Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver a smooth customer experience by managing the ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify parts accuracy and timely delivery to support production schedules.

You will work with vendors, enter invoices into MIS, track parts, and help maintain margins through accurate pricing and discounts while collaborating with a fast-paced team in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts.
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability.
• I-CAR registered; working toward Gold Class certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on repair orders, confirming quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by the RO number and store with the vehicle and scheduled repairs; communicate price changes to team.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor performance of parts and invoices; reconcile vendor invoices.
• Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned promptly.
• Maintain negotiated discounts to protect margins.
