Job summary

Harper Collision in Knoxville is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator/Repair Planner to join our state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot facility. The role focuses on building thorough repair plans, documenting OEM procedures, and coordinating disassembly and blueprinting for repairs to a wide range of vehicles.

The position emphasizes exact documentation, strong communication with insurers and customers, and ensuring safe, high-quality repairs with adherence to manufacturer procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous collision estimating or repair-planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair procedures.
• Experience with CCC ONE or comparable estimating software.
• Familiarity with OEM repair information and documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe, proper repairs.
• I-CAR training or OEM certification experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicles and preparing accurate, complete repair plans.
• Researching and documenting OEM repair procedures.
• Identifying structural, mechanical, safety, and calibration requirements.
• Coordinating vehicle disassembly and blueprinting.
• Writing and negotiating supplements with insurance carriers.
• Documenting all required labor operations, parts, materials, and sublet services.
• Communicating clearly with customers, technicians, insurers, and vendors.
• Monitoring repairs to help maintain quality and production flow.
