Job summary

Preston Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Dover is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to own the estimating process from initial inspection through final repair completion. You'll write accurate estimates using Mitchell and coordinate with technicians, insurers, and customers to keep repairs moving.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on PartsTrader experience, a deep understanding of OEM repair procedures, and strong communication and organizational skills to document damages, create supplements,

Qualifications

• Experience as Collision Estimator or related role.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify all visible and potential hidden damage.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle damage inspections and write accurate estimates using Mitchell.
• Create supplements as additional damage is identified.
• Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, insurers, and customers to keep repairs moving.
• Utilize PartsTrader to source and order parts, compare pricing, and manage parts procurement.
• Verify OEM repair procedures and ensure estimates reflect the required repair process.
• Document repairs and keep estimates updated in a timely manner.
• Provide customers with professional, transparent communication throughout the repair process.
