Overview
UnibodyAutotechCollision Repair Center isseekingan experienced and customer-focused Collision Repair Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in deliveringaccuraterepair estimates, communicating with customers and insurance partners, and ensuring a smooth repair process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepareaccuraterepair estimates
- Write estimates using industry-standard software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex)
- Communicate clearly with customersregardingrepair processes, timelines, and costs
- Work directly with insurance companies to negotiate andfinalizerepair approvals
- Monitor repair progress and update estimates as needed (supplements)
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper repair procedures and parts usage
- Order parts and verify pricing/availability whenrequired
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all estimates and communications
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair lifecycle
Qualifications
- Previousexperience as a collision repair estimatorrequired
- I-CAR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with DRP programs
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiencywith estimating platforms (CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex)
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple repairs and deadlines simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license
