Preferred Muskegon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – Muskegon, MI is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our collision center team. You will manage estimates from intake to delivery, working closely with customers, insurers, and technicians to keep repairs moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates understand collision repair, communicate clearly, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Previous collision estimating or body shop experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to write accurate estimates and identify necessary repair procedures.
• Excellent organization and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
• Review estimates and repair expectations with customers and insurers.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, adjusters, and claims representatives.
• Document damage with photos and detailed repair information.
• Prepare and submit supplements for additional damage.
• Follow up on approvals, parts requirements, and repair status.
• Work with technicians and parts staff to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Ensure repairs are documented and billed per standards.
