Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to provide accurate vehicle damage assessments and coordinate repair plans with customers and insurers. You will document interactions, communicate clearly, and ensure compliance with DRP and insurance requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of relevant experience, and willingness to complete I-CAR training. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines required.
• Awareness of where to look for answers and problem-solving.
• Basic computer skills for repair documentation and ERP usage.
• Compliance for DRP’s and related processes.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in collision/estimator roles.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction accurately and update records.
• Provide customers with accurate information and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and internal processes.
• Adhere to WOW Operating Ways for drop-offs, planning, communication, and delivery.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Maintain positive energy in person and over the phone.
• Understand insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend health & safety meetings and training as required.
• Assist in training sessions and workshops as recommended by Store Manager.
