Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while creating accurate repair estimates and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.

You will assess vehicle damage, document required repairs, and help the team achieve the shop KPIs by working closely with all departments to ensure smooth, timely repairs and satisfied customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Provide accurate and timely information guiding customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements and metrics.
• Adhere to WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Offer positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Participate in daily production walks with the management team.
• Support team members as needed.
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops as required.
