Job summary

Crash Champions is looking for a customer-facing estimator/claims coordinator in the Chicago area. You will educate customers on the repair process, review insurance procedures, prepare and lock estimates, and oversee repairs to ensure quality and timely completion.

The role requires excellent organization, communication, and familiarity with estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell & Audatex). We offer medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in auto collision repair.
• Ability to explain repair processes and insurance procedures.
• Knowledge of estimating processes and finalizing estimates.
• Experience with multiple estimating systems preferred (CCC One, Mitchell & Audatex).

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repairs, insurance procedures, rights, techniques, safety, and value.
• Complete initial estimates, write full estimates after evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair and uphold Crash Champions' quality standards via in-process QC.
• Keep customers informed and provide the best possible experience.
• Review data with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning per vehicle.
• Pre-close final repair order, handle paperwork, and meet carrier requirements.
