Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Kapolei, HI, is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates accurately and profitably under guidance of an experienced estimator.

As an Estimator Apprentice you will communicate value to customers, support insurance partners, and help achieve a high close rate while advancing your I-CAR training and parts planning skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within first 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Greets customer at repair drop off and builds rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and prepares initial photos/notes.
• Notifies production and places vehicle in queue; verifies estimate during teardown.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Collaborates with repair team on parts and windshield notations.
