Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle domestic orders, place orders, and follow up with distributors. You will be the first contact for customer inquiries by phone and email, delivering accurate, detailed troubleshooting and resolutions.

Responsibilities include quotes, orders, returns, discrepancies, sourcing of unavailable products, and supporting inventory management and communications across management, sales, production, purchasing and logistics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience managing data and ensuring data integrity in a customer service context.
• Experience handling customer inquiries via email and phone with accuracy.
• ERP experience with Oracle; paints/sealants industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by email and phone regarding quotes, orders, returns, and discrepancies.
• Source products not available in distribution centers and back-orders.
• Support inventory management, database maintenance, and logging calls.
• Collaborate with management, the sales team, production, purchasing and logistics.
