Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead the collision center operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving KPI and insurance metrics.

As a General Manager, you will coach and empower staff, manage budgets, uphold safety standards, and ensure a seamless customer journey across all touchpoints. The role reports to senior leadership and requires strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets for the collision center.
• Deliver formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Provide training for all staff as necessary.
• Ensure staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
• Open and close the facility daily per established procedures.
• Lead daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
• Manage estimates to ensure labor mix is within standards and store capacity.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend managers meetings.
