Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Director to lead the collision center, drive sales and profitability, and mentor a team of associates across operations, customer service, and compliance. You will manage budgets, track performance metrics, and nurture relationships with insurance partners, dealerships, and customers to sustain growth.

You will ensure efficient scheduling, payroll accuracy, and proper documentation while maintaining a safe, organized shop and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in an auto body repair facility.
• Minimum two years’ experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong MS Office skills with focus on Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Advanced knowledge of auto body repair techniques and life cycle.
• Excellent customer service and problem-resolution abilities.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals for the collision center and manage the budget.
• Recruit, onboard, and train associates; coach performance.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure quality of completed repairs.
• Maintain payroll/docs and technician certifications as required.
• Build relationships with dealerships, insurers, and customers.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with revenue recognition.
