Job summary

Saber Power Services, based in Houston, TX, seeks a College Recruiting Coordinator (temp with potential for full-time) to lead the logistics of the fall recruiting program. This in-office role reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources and coordinates university career fairs, candidate communications, and interview scheduling.

You'll manage event logistics, create engaging content about Saber Power's culture, organize materials, track resumes, and support additional HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or anticipated graduation in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and tell compelling stories through concise written communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate registration and participation for university career fairs, including completing registrations, managing event logistics, and serving as the primary liaison with university career services offices.
  • Partner with recruiting team members to schedule attendance, communicate event logistics, and ensure recruiting teams are prepared.
  • Capture highlights from university recruiting events and develop engaging written content, photos, and stories that showcase Saber Power's culture and career opportunities for use on internal and external communication channels.
  • Organize, inventory, and distribute recruiting materials, promotional items, and career fair supplies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for university recruiting logistics and candidate communications.
  • Track resumes and applications received from recruiting events and ensure timely movement through the hiring process.
  • Schedule Microsoft Teams interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate candidate communications throughout the interview process.
  • Plan and execute a large-scale on-site interview event involving multiple business leaders and candidates, including facility reservations, interview schedules, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, catering, and candidate itineraries.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation and reporting throughout the recruiting season.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts or logistical challenges and proactively develop solutions.
  • Support additional Human Resources projects as business needs require.

Saber Power Services is seeking a College Recruiting Coordinator to lead the logistics and execution of our annual fall college recruiting program
Position Summary:

This role will serve as the central point of coordination for university career fairs, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruiting events, ensuring an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders.

This position is initially expected to support our fall recruiting season over approximately three to six months. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to evolve into a full-time Human Resources support position.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this position is based at our corporate headquarters in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas, and is a fully in-office role. Minimal travel may be required to support recruiting events and university career fairs.

Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while collaborating with leaders across the organization.

  • Internship or campus leadership experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Event Planning, Project Coordination, Student Organizations, or Career Services.
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, or large projects.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruiting software.
  • Experience supporting hiring, recruiting, or onboarding activities.Experience creating content for social media, campus organization s, student publications, or other communications initiatives.
