Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Communications, or related field and three years in dropout prevention or postsecondary program.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience providing direct case management services.
  • Spanish language ability preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, select, and deliver services to eligible participants at target secondary schools.
  • Conduct workshops on college, career and financial aid information and test preparation.
  • Provide outreach and case management services to students.
  • Provide direct services such as career exploration and study skills.
  • Maintain student records and data entry of required forms.
  • Assist with grant documentation and supervise summer activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Communications, or related field
