You will assist students in navigating academic challenges, set educational goals, and connect with campus resources to enhance their college experience.

Responsibilities include holistic advising across modalities, course planning, progress tracking, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and four years of experience working with college students in an academic advising or coaching capacity.
• Ten years of an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Conducts holistic academic advising and coaching for current and prospective students using in-person, virtual, phone, and email modalities.
• Provides guidance on degree requirements and course selection to help students set and achieve educational and career goals.
• Helps students track academic progress, interpret policies, and utilize available tools and resources.
• Monitors the academic progress of a caseload and analyzes transcripts and placement results.
• Enters notes into Inspire and follows best practices for documenting appointments and interventions.
• Caseload management includes awareness of counseling, career coaching, and tutoring services and referrals as appropriate.
