Goldenwest Credit Union in Utah is seeking a full-time Collections Associate to work with the Collections Department to recover overdue debts and assist members with delinquent payments.

Responsibilities include analyzing borrowers' financial situations, processing delinquent payments, and contacting members by phone to arrange payments while complying with regulations. Benefits include medical/dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Collectors work directly with the Collections Department to assist in managing delinquent accounts by working with members and other credit union employees to recover overdue debts for the Credit Union.

Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Information

• Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 6:15 PM
• Rotating Saturday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• $20.25 per hour + Bonus + Incentive
• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Process Delinquent payments.
• Analyze financial situations of borrowers.
• Assists employees with member accounts.
• Work with members on their delinquent payments or negative shares.
• Make both incoming and outgoing by phone calls on a daily basis.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Experience, Education & Certification

• High school diploma required
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred
