Job summary

Marshall Community Credit Union is seeking a Collections Supervisor to lead the Resolutions Team and own MCCU's collections and recovery program from the first missed payment through charge-off and legal recovery.

You'll work directly with delinquent borrowers to configure realistic repayment plans, pursue options during hardship, and oversee collateral recovery, small claims, and legal actions. This role reports to the COO and is on-site, with two direct reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills for assessing delinquent accounts and resolution options.
• Clear, professional communication with members, staff, attorneys, and outside parties, both in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with delinquent borrowers to build realistic repayment plans.
• Find workable solutions for members facing financial hardship and explain options for resolving accounts.
• Initiate repossession when needed and manage collateral recovery.
