Job summary

S.C. State Credit Union seeks a Collections Supervisor to lead a Loan Adjusters team, coaching staff and ensuring accurate performance against regulatory standards. You will tackle complex delinquent accounts, advise on repayment options, and protect member financial well-being while minimizing risk.

You will collaborate with leadership, branches and partners to maintain consistent practices and efficient operations. Some travel across the state may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in collections, loan servicing, or related financial services.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and developing a team of Loan Adjusters through coaching and performance management.
• Monitor productivity and ensure regulatory compliance and high performance.
• Act as escalation point for complex member accounts and advise on repayment options, repossessions, foreclosures, and charge-offs.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
