Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's subsidiary WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Collections Specialist for a 1-year W-2 contract in Miami, onsite only. You will manage delinquent accounts across aging buckets (1–120+ days), perform daily collection activities, negotiate payment plans and coordinate with Legal as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a collections role handling aging and defaults.
• High school diploma required; college degree is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts from early delinquency through legal/bankruptcy stages.
• Perform daily collection activities via calls, emails, texts, and letters.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product, Billing, and Legal to resolve payment issues.
• Prepare weekly forecasts and aging-based progress reports.
• Analyze aging AR and monitor non-payment trends.
• Offer and manage payment plans and extensions as needed.
• Conduct skip tracing and assign field cases when contact info is lacking.
• Investigate and resolve collection-related disputes promptly.
• Prepare and submit cases for litigation when required.
• Coordinate with third-party collection agencies and manage feedback loops.
• Negotiate settlements and gather missing docs to resolve balances.
