Job summary

Purpose Financial, Inc. in Greenville, SC, is seeking a motivated Collections professional to join our downtown office.

This on-site role focuses on contacting customers to collect overdue payments and negotiating viable repayment options while maintaining professional standards. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year in a call center or customer service role, and preferably three years in collections; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year call center or customer service experience; three years collections experience preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly; strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Contact and negotiate with customers to collect overdue, defaulted or write-off loans.
• Act as the liaison between creditors and customers to manage overdue accounts.
• Develop and implement collection strategies and negotiate payment plans per guidelines.
• Adhere to corporate policies including Code of Ethics and Information Security.
