Collections Specialist – Full‑Time | Philadelphia, PA
A well‑established organization in Philadelphia is seeking a Collections Specialist to support its contributions, billing, and member services functions. This is a full‑time, onsite role offering strong stability, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a mission‑driven environment that supports a diverse member population.

Key Responsibilities
- Research member issues, identify needs, and provide solutions with a high level of professionalism
- Ensure employer contributions and payments are processed and posted accurately and on time
- Manage billing and collections for discrepancies or outstanding remittances
- Communicate with members regarding benefit‑related questions and account inquiries
- Communicate with employers regarding payment, billing, and remittance questions
- Enter and update contribution payments and employer remittances
- Assist employers with navigating online remittance portals or electronic submission tools
- Generate weekly and monthly reports
- Prepare special reports or documentation as needed
- Maintain updated knowledge of current policies and procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both members and employers
Qualifications
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams as well as independently
- Spanish language proficiency required (due to member and employer needs)
- Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia
