Job summary

FSS Technologies is seeking a Billing & Collections Associate to contact clients and collect payments. You will make approximately 70-100 calls per day via phone, email, or text as part of the Customer Management Team, addressing billing issues and updating contact information.

The role requires knowledge of billing procedures, experience in accounts receivable, and proficiency in MS Office and databases. NetSuite experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with Billing, Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Customer service and account management experience.
• Prior experience with NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
• Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
• Find and contact clients to ask about overdue payments
• Make approximately 100 outbound collection calls per day
• Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
• Process payments and refunds
• Resolve billing and customer issues
• Update account status records and collection efforts
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
