Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on accounts in litigation or repossession status.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing debt collection practices (e.g., FDCPA).
• Provide exceptional customer service while negotiating payment arrangements.

SUMMARY:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• 5 years of experience in consumer finance collections or a related field.
• Familiarity with skip tracing tools and legal collection procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collection software systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a branch environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with auto loan or personal loan collections.
• Knowledge of repossession and legal filing processes.
