Job summary

Sports & Imports Autos (SPOIMPO) in Buford, GA seeks an experienced Collections Manager to lead and develop our collections department. You will drive performance by overseeing a team of collections specialists, optimize delinquency and recovery metrics, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in collections with prior management experience, preferably in a Buy Here Pay Here environment, and a proven ability to coach and motivate a team while maximizing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of collections experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) collections experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing first-party collections.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and use data to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of collections specialists.
• Drive collection performance by monitoring KPIs, delinquency, and recovery rates.
• Hold team members accountable to daily and monthly goals.
• Handle escalated customer accounts and complex payment arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
• Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and repossession teams to maximize portfolio performance.
• Foster a positive, high-accountability, results-driven culture.
