Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience required.
• Experience in auto-finance or consumer lending preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage delinquent auto-loan accounts through all stages of delinquency.
• Contact customers to understand delinquency and propose solutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within guidelines and track promises.
• Document customer contacts and account changes accurately.
• Use skip-tracing and account-research methods to locate customers.
• Escalate sensitive matters and coordinate with branches and departments.
• Assist with repossession process and with remarketing documentation.
