Job summary

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a Customer Service/Collections Agent with a strong team ethic and experience in a fast-paced environment. This onsite role is based in Winterville, NC, with a September 2026 start date and is part of our call center and collections team.

You will follow established procedures to collect delinquent accounts, hit call quotas, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in the collection system while collaborating with supervisors on high-risk

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience — Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) — Required
• Stable work history with at least 1 year in all previous roles
• 1+ year of call center experience — Preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to collect delinquent accounts with professionalism
• Achieve metrics including call volume, contact percentage, and promises kept
• Negotiate repayment plans based on client capability and intent
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation in the collection system
• Collaborate with supervisors to elevate high-risk accounts for possible repossession or foreclosure
