Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a Collections Analyst to support the Sales team by collecting past due amounts and resolving credit issues from branches and customers. The role involves negotiating payment plans, reviewing lien waivers, and coordinating with the Senior Credit Analyst to mitigate risk. Work is performed in an in-office environment with standard hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.

to 5 p.m. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience collecting past due amounts and handling credit-related inquiries.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Collect past due amounts for assigned accounts and negotiate payment plans.
• Follow up with sales teams and customers to resolve delinquencies.
• Review lien waivers for accuracy and reconcile with records.
• Gather project information with Sales and Senior Credit Analyst for risk mitigation.
• Issue demand letters and determine escalation to outside collections.
• Handle inquiries via calls and emails and maintain documentation.
