Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a friendly Staff Dining Room Attendant to provide warm, professional service to hotel colleagues in the Staff Dining Room. You will maintain cleanliness, set up buffets, restock items, and support culinary and stewarding teams during meal periods.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, a strong focus on food safety and presentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Food safety certification required or ability to obtain per state regulations.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, organization and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly service to hotel colleagues in the Staff Dining Room.
• Maintain the Staff Dining Room, buffet, beverage stations, tables, chairs, and service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Staff Dining Room.
• Set up buffet stations, dining areas, utensils, condiments, beverages, and other service items.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, cups, beverages, and other supplies.
• Monitor buffet presentation and communicate shortages to leadership.
• Ensure food is presented according to established standards.
• Maintain temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
• Clear and reset tables; empty garbage and recycling; maintain cleanliness.
