Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a guest-focused restaurant team member at our New Orleans property. You will support servers, greet guests, and help deliver a seamless dining experience with knowledge of menu items and service standards.

This role requires strong English communication, a polished demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury environment with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Experience in fine-dining or luxury hospitality preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of policies, standards and service expectations.
• Assist servers and front of house team to deliver attentive service.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Deliver and present food and beverages to tables according to standards.
• Ensure correct table delivery and assist with clearing dishes.
• Maintain menu knowledge and respond to guest questions accurately.
• Keep tables, stations and work areas clean and organized.
• Replenish water, bread, silverware, glassware and condiments as directed.
• Support pre-shift and post-shift setup and break down of the restaurant.
• Coordinate timely food delivery from kitchen to dining room.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to health and safety requirements.
