Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in New Orleans is seeking a polished Food & Beverage Service associate to consistently deliver professional and engaging hospitality across outlets, including in-room dining. Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, in-room dining, or food & beverage service experience preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale dining experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Louisiana food safety certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists.
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
