Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Staff Dining Room Attendant to deliver warm, professional service to colleagues in the Staff Dining Room and maintain a clean, organized dining environment.

You will setup buffet stations, restock items, assist with opening/closing procedures, and ensure food safety and presentation throughout service. Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential to support culinary and stewarding teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service environments, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, and professional service in the Staff Dining Room.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, and service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Staff Dining Room.
• Set up buffet stations and dining areas with utensils, condiments, and beverages.
• Replenish food and beverages while maintaining presentation and safety.
• Monitor buffet items and report shortages to culinary staff.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper temperatures.
• Clear and reset tables, transport items as needed, and restock supplies.
• Support colleague engagement events and adhere to SOPs.
