Job summary
Cooley LLP is seeking a Collaboration Technology and Workflow Engineer in a hybrid Santa Monica setting to architect, build, and evolve the firm's enterprise intranet and workflow solutions using Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
The role combines deep platform expertise with governance and user enablement, aiming to deliver secure, scalable digital experiences and automation across the firm.
Qualifications
- 4+ years directly applicable experience designing intranet/workflow solutions.
- Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and Power Platform architecture.
- Modern web development experience with SPFx, React, TypeScript.
- Experience with REST API design and JSON/XML data handling.
- Ability to balance customization with maintainability and reduce technical debt.
- Experience leading through influence and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and evolve the firm's enterprise intranet and workflow solutions.
- Design scalable, secure digital experiences integrating content, search, and automation.
- Develop automation, templates, and repeatable processes for mailbox/workflow management.
- Create governance, standards, and reusable patterns for workflow automation.
- Leverage Power BI and Microsoft 365 reporting for usage-driven improvements.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap and new services.
- Enable users and partner with change management initiatives.
- Lead design reviews and mentor junior developers and architects.
