Job summary

Cooley LLP seeks a Collaboration Technology and Workflow Engineer to join the Technology Platforms and Applications team. The role builds and evolves the firm's intranet and workflow solutions leveraging Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.

The candidate will design scalable, secure experiences that automate workflows, support governance, and enable user adoption across the firm.

Qualifications

4+ years directly applicable experience designing intranet/workflow solutions.
Deep technical expertise of SharePoint Online and Power Platform architecture and governance.
Modern web development experience (SPFx, React, TypeScript) and engineering practices (Git, CI/CD).
Experience with REST API design and JSON/XML data handling.
Ability to balance customization with maintainability and minimize technical debt.
Experience uncovering business challenges and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

Exchange Online responsibilities: develop automation, templates, and scalable mail-flow management.
Workflow Automation: design and build Power Platform solutions to automate processes and improve UX.
Drive Business & User Value: translate requirements into technical solutions and identify value opportunities.
Documentation: create and maintain deployment runbooks and best-practice docs.
Usage and Analytics: leverage Power BI and Microsoft 365 reporting for continuous improvement.
Roadmap: stay updated on Microsoft 365 SharePoint/Power Platform roadmaps and new services.
User Enablement: empower employees to use tools effectively and support user adoption.
Collaboration: share best practices, lead design reviews, and mentor teammates.
