Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to handle receiving, staging, loading, and distribution of perishable foods in our cold-storage facilities. You will support partner agencies and direct-distribution programs while upholding food safety and inventory accuracy.

The role requires forklift and pallet-jack experience, comfort with sub-freezing temperatures, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year warehouse experience operating electric pallet jacks/riders and forklifts.
• Cherry picker experience strongly preferred.
• Able to lift 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and push/pull up to 300 lbs. in sub-freezing temps.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, pick, pack, and stage frozen, refrigerated, and fresh foods.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cherry pickers to move materials.
• Inspect shipments and maintain FEFO inventory.
• Complete receiving/shipping paperwork and label pallets.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following food safety protocols.
