Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking an Order Picker to support the efficient acquisition, storage, and distribution of food products. You will perform picking/packing, loading/unloading, and pallet-building while ensuring FEFO compliance and sanitary practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or GED) and at least 1 year of warehouse experience with forklifts and pallet jacks, plus strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; food safety certification or ability to obtain
1+ year warehouse experience with propane/electric forklifts and 4ft/8ft electric pallet jack/riders
Proficiency with scanning equipment, quality control, and general warehouse operations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; basic math and counting; strong customer service; teamwork and independent work

Responsibilities

Support the acquisition, storage, and distribution of food products.
Complete accurate, timely warehouse order work including picking and packing.
Load, unload, and stage inventory; build pallets and apply FEFO practices.
Maintain sanitation and safe work practices; assist with donor receipts.
