Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective in Grove City, OH, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure accurate receiving, storage, inspection, and distribution of food products. The role protects product integrity and maintains inventory accuracy to keep outbound orders moving safely and on time.

You will handle loading/unloading, verify quality, and manage WMS data while following FIFO/FEFO practices and safety procedures. Teamwork and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Food Safety Certification.
• 1+ year fast-paced warehouse experience.
• Forklift operation (propane & electric); electric hand jack (4ft & 8ft).
• Working knowledge of warehouse machinery/operations; WMS proficiency.
• Quality control knowledge, strong math skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support receiving, storage, inspection, and distribution of food products.
• Load/unload and store product; verify quality.
• Prepare outbound loads (bills of lading, seal numbers, tagging, shrink-wrapping).
• Maintain WMS locations and product data; practice FIFO/FEFO.
• Replenish pick locations; assist with cycle counts; follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to food safety and warehouse safety policies.
