Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective seeks an Order Picker to support efficient acquisition, storage, and distribution of food products in our Grove City warehouse. You will perform picking and packing, load/unload, and stage inventory to keep orders accurate and on time.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED (food safety certification preferred) and 1+ year warehouse experience with forklifts and pallet jacks, plus proficiency with scanning equipment and general warehouse operations; ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with food safety certification or ability to obtain.
• 1+ year warehouse experience with propane/electric forklifts and 4ft/8ft electric pallet jack/riders.
• Proficiency with scanning equipment, quality control, and general warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; basic math/counting; strong customer service; teamwork and independent work.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack product; load/unload and stage inventory.
• Build pallets and shrink-wrap/tag skids for delivery.
• Unload donations from food drives as needed.
• Prepare donor receipts and apply FEFO practices to transactions.
• Maintain sanitation and safe work practices.
