McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector in Columbus, OH to load trucks, move products within the warehouse, and operate reach trucks and pallet jacks in various zones including cold storage.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with start times from 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Benefits begin after 60 days and include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plus vacation, sick leave accrual from day one, and paid holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and lift 50 pounds or more.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• May work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and other areas.
• McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves.
• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Drive reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack product when off balance or in the wrong location.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Clean work area; perform other duties as assigned.
