Job summary

CookUnity in Hyattsville, MD is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the Fulfillment team during the assigned shift, ensuring accurate picking, packing and timely order preparation in a cold production environment.

You will lead a diverse team, monitor performance with Tableau and Google Sheets, enforce SOPs, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Strong communication with cross-functional groups and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics role.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and familiarity with Slack, Geneva, and Gmail.
• Able to work in a cold production environment.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pick-and-pack operations in a FREEZER, ensuring orders are accurately fulfilled and meet quality standards.
• Monitor order progress to ensure timely completion during the assigned shift.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members to optimize performance.
• Communicate with management to elevate issues when necessary.
• Train team members on cold storage best practices and safety guidelines.
