Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products within a cold-storage facility. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach equipment, and RF scanners while adhering to safety and production standards.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience in the last three years and be capable of working in freezer environments. Shifts include 7AM–3:30PM and 3PM–11PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in Freezer and Cooler.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and assemble orders for shipment; check for accuracy, damage, and infestation; wrap, label, and pack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners following OSHA standards to maintain safety.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean and orderly environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
