Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using a range of forklifts and RF equipment. You will work under supervision to move goods to storage, load and unload freight, and support inventory and packing operations across the facility.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with requirements for a high school diploma (GED preferred) and potential overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends to complete work or attend meetings, and to adhere to attendance policies by showing up on time.
Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack as directed by management.
Operate equipment safely in compliance with OSHA standards (various forklifts and RF scanners).
Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
