Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks. The role requires 1 year of forklift experience in the last 3 years and the ability to work in freezer and cooler environments.

You will load/unload freight, pick orders, inspect freight, and maintain OSHA safety standards while meeting production goals in a cold, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience in the last 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to work in the Freezer and Cooler.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise and pick orders for shipment.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, infestation, label, wrap, and repack as directed.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards and maintain safety.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly environment.
