Job summary

Peak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Vision Solutions Engineer to lead installation, integration, and support of advanced industrial systems, including machine vision tunnels, RFID, conveyors, and robotics.

You will serve as a subject matter expert, delivering deployments in fast-paced environments and managing complex projects across locations. You will guide installation best practices, calibrations, and troubleshooting, mentoring junior technicians and customer teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field; experience can substitute for degree.
5+ years in field service or installation roles with machine vision exposure.
Experience with Cognex, Keyence, Basler, Matrox, Teledyne/FLIR.
Strong time management, organizational, multitasking abilities.
Proven problem-solving, decision-making, proactive self-direction.
Travel may be required for events and customer visits.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, setup, and configuration of machine vision tunnels, RFID systems, conveyors, and robotics.
Provide expert guidance on installation best practices, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Mentor and train junior technicians and customer teams on system operation and maintenance.
Act as primary technical contact during installations with clear communication.
Conduct site assessments to verify power, networking, and environmental readiness.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during and after installation.
Perform preventive maintenance and create detailed service reports.
Develop and maintain installation guides, wiring diagrams, and calibration reports.
Ensure safety compliance with standards (Lockout-Tagout, Hazmat, Industrial Safety).
