Cup of Joe Cafes, LLC is seeking a Coffeehouse Supervisor for our Starbucks licensed store on Northshore in Chattanooga, TN. You will work with the Coffeehouse Leader to guide daily operations, coach Baristas and Shift Leads, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include inventory oversight, scheduling support, and maintaining standards. The role emphasizes balancing people and operations while driving store results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations with the Coffeehouse Leader to drive toward store goals
• Coach and develop Baristas and Shift Leads; provide real-time feedback on drink craft and brand standards
• Oversee inventory: ordering, receiving, stock levels to keep store guest-ready
• Support scheduling and shift coverage; step in to lead the floor as needed
• Ensure the team delivers the Starbucks Experience to every guest
• Foster a strong team culture that supports engagement and retention
• Monitor performance against goals and implement action plans
• Step in as floor leader and decision-maker when needed
• Handle guest concerns with confidence and care to encourage return visits
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards across the store
