The Hotel at Avalon, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Coffee Shop Assistant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel's coffee shop, ensuring exceptional guest service across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

You will hire, train and develop staff, monitor budgets, control costs, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering the brand's renowned hospitality and good living experience.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position.
• Experience in restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Strong supervision/management communication skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and budgeting basics.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Coffee Shop across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Hire, train and develop staff; discipline when needed.
• Forecast and control outlet budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
• Respond to guest trends and feedback to improve service.
