Job summary

Alfred Coffee in Calabasas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily cafe operations, nurture a hospitality‑focused culture, and partner with the Cafe Manager to develop the team. You will oversee scheduling, training, inventory, and shift execution while upholding Alfred’s standards of service.

This role requires a customer‑centric leader who can drive guest satisfaction, manage labor costs, and ensure food safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cafe, coffee, or restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and working in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach employees with ongoing feedback and development.
• Partner with Cafe Manager to drive store performance and operations.
• Oversee scheduling, training, inventory, and cash handling.
• Ensure safe, clean, and organized cafe environment with quality guest service.
