Job summary

Community Coffee, Texas-based, is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain brewing and serving equipment in a workshop setting. You will ensure equipment stays clean, functional, and reliable to deliver quality coffee to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in electrical or small appliance repair; HVAC experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fundamentals.
• Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical.
• Internal Only: Community Coffee experience may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule repairs of brewing equipment to meet operational demands.
• Inspect used parts to assess wear and dimensional changes.
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issues.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective components.
• Examine parts for defects, such as changes in form or texture.
• Adjust and calibrate functional components and control instruments.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, install new structural or functional components.
• Lubricate and clean mechanical parts to ensure smooth operation.
• Conduct performance tests to verify repairs and ensure equipment functionality.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory of all repair parts.
• May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.
