Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. in Douglas, WY, is seeking a Welder II to weld at CODE level on diverse projects in our Douglas Weld Shop. You will perform Code and non-Code welding, fitting, and assist in building a strong team culture while adapting to evolving workload and schedules.

The role requires experience with GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW per WPS, forklift operation, and commitment to safety and quality in a high-demand fabrication environment. Compensation includes a second shift differential.

Qualifications

• Code welding experience per ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1.
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing environment familiarity.
• Ownership and attitude that shares wins and owns losses.
• Willingness to learn new processes or methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math for welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code items to satisfactory quality.
• Operate GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS.
• Achieve 100% NDT as needed.
• Process materials with accuracy and efficiency.
• Use oxy-fuel, plasma, saw, mag-drill, grinder safely.
• Drive forklift safely.
• Participate in team development of welding skills.
